A Message from Mrs. Kristie Autrey
A Fresh Start in 2025
Dear Parents and Families,
Happy New Year!
As we welcome 2025, it's the perfect time to focus on fresh beginnings and renewed commitments. Mitchell Elementary is encouraging every student to prioritize two key areas: academics and attendance.
Regular attendance is essential because every day in class builds on the last. It fosters learning, builds good habits, and ensures students are actively engaged in their education. Combined with strong academic effort, consistent attendance lays the foundation for success—not just in school but in life.
When students attend regularly and dedicate themselves to their studies, they develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve their goals. We’re here to partner with you to support your child’s journey toward success. Let’s work together to make 2025 a year of growth, learning, and achievement.
Together, we can help our students thrive! If you have any questions or concerns, please schedule a conference with your child’s teacher.
Warm regards,
Kristie B Autrey
