We are looking fair/4-H photo of generations of fun throughout the decades to be in our fair book. We will need them by April 1st. They can send them to Meggan Roeber at cassfair19@gmail.com

Fairboard purchased a miniature golf set, and they are looking for 4-H groups, sport groups, dance groups, or anyone that needs to raise money for a cause, to run this event during the fair. Miniature golf will be open from 11 am to 8 pm - Wednesday through Saturday during the fair. You have to sign up for a minimum of four hours shifts for $250 All you need to do this is One adult over the age of 18 with group. Jobs will be just handing out balls, clubs, score cards and making sure no one gets out of hand. Sign up for this is cassfair19@gmail.com

2023 Cass County Communications Event will include: Prepared Speech, Public Service Announcement (PSA), Illustrated Presentation, Impromptu Speech and Video Communications as well a Clover Kid class! The Nebraska 4-H Youth Leadership Conference is an opportunity for all youth ages 14-18 to build connections with peers from across the state, learn from adult mentors, and develop and practice leadership skills. Youth do not need to be enrolled in 4-H to attend the conference. The 4-H Youth Leadership Conference will be held June 19-21, 2023 at Camp Comeca at Cozad. Registration is $250 and covers all room, board, and materials. Register by June 4, to reserve a spot!

Save the date! Small Animal Progress show hosted by Lone Star 4-H Club and Phelps County 4-H Council will be held in Holdrege, Saturday, June 3. All youth are welcome, even Clover Kids! Prizes! Concessions! Fun! Educational! No pre-registration needed. Two rings!

Chick Days is an annual educational event for small and back-yard poultry producers and youth to learn more about the poultry industry.

This years event will be held from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on March 25, 2023 at the Department of Animal Science, 3940 Fair St., Lincoln, NE.

The Cass County 4-H Council is once again sponsoring a pop tab contest! Whichever Cass County 4-H Club turns in the most pop tabs by August 6, 2023 by 6pm will receive up to $250 to sponsor a pizza party!

Course for students 14 years of age and older. Successful completion of a one- day in person training (driving exam) paired with an in-person or online learning module will result in certification for 14 and 15 year olds to be employed on farms and ranches. This program encourages youth to engage in a variety of age-appropriate experiences and rewards youth for trying new things, setting goals, and keeping records. Excited to announce another year of the Nebraska 4-H Livestock Achievement Program. This additional opportunity for livestock project youth, is designed to promote all educational aspects of 4-H livestock projects including selection, production, leadership, and exhibition by recognizing youth striving to improve in their livestock project knowledge and leadership.
