Did You Know??
Have you visited our Library?
In the spirit of science, technology, engineering and math, we have turned our school's normal library into a hybrid library museum. A hybrid library museum is a space where students and community can investigate the interestingness of STEM-related objects throughout history. As the designers of our organization and curators of the exhibitions, we have spent a lot of time mind-mapping the space, defining what makes an object interesting, collecting and researching artifacts, and developing ways to make you see, think, and wonder.
All our objects are related to the evolution of STEM, and they all have a story waiting to be shared and used to inspire future innovations. So if you and your family have an itch to learn and want your curiosity spiked, this is the place for you!

Headphones
If you have not had your child bring in over-the-ear headphones, please send your child with them soon. Instruction has begun, and working headphones are a large part of the school's instructional day. Throughout the year, your child's teacher will notify you if headphones are needing to be replaced.
Arrival Drop-off
The doors to the building open at 8:35. Prior to staff being outside, please be sure that your child is supervised by an adult. The playground may be used only with an adult supervising. We appreciate your support in this.
Weekend Meal Request
RCS Weekend Meal Program Request-Reynoldsburg City Schools partners with Children's Hunger Alliance to provide non-perishable shelf stable meals for students and families in need of additional food resources for weekends and breaks. These boxes are provided at each school site weekly by request. The method by which these boxes are distributed varies based on school location.
If you would like your child to receive weekend meal boxes, please complete the form below. Please read each question carefully and answer all questions.
Summit Road STEM Elementary 4th Annual Walk-a-thon Fundraiser
Hello Summit Road Families and welcome to our 4th Annual Walkathon Fundraiser event! This is a super fun event for the whole school and an important fundraiser for Summit. We will raise money leading up to the actual event in September. We will have music and some giveaways to motivate us along the way. Our Walkathon will have a “Level Up” theme and students can wear something to represent their favorite video game to show their spirit as they walk to raise money for Summit Elementary on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Fundraising Has Begun!
Walk-a-thon donations are collected through our personalized webpage at 99Pledges, https://app.99pledges.com/fund/SUMMITRd. Our goal is to raise $10,000. You will receive an email from 99Pledges with a link to your student’s pledge page. Simply share your link with friends and family to make their flat rate donations. It's that simple! No keeping up with miles or laps, just one flat rate donation. If you don’t receive a link, you can search and find your student’s page by clicking the button below.
Purpose of Walk-a-thon
Summit Road STEM Elementary will be hosting our 4th Annual Walkathon fundraiser and we are so excited for this event! Funds raised from our Walkathon will be used to support our Environmental STEM focus by helping to update our Makerspace for students, purchase books, classroom supplies, and materials for our gardens, courtyard, and Ecolab, help cover the cost of transportation for outdoor education trips, purchase materials and resources for our Culinary and Ornithology Labs; and other special school events/activities. The more money we raise, the more we can support our students and STEM program at Summit! *If sponsors are unable to use the 99Pledges site, we will gladly accept cash, check, or money orders. Contact Mr. Jacobs with questions regarding the fundraiser.
