June 5th - Students who purchased tickets for the 8th grade semi-formal will recieve their ticket in homeroom, the day of the picnic.
June 10th - 8th Grade Awards @ 6 pm (Invitations will be sent to families of recipients)
June 12th - Schoolwide Picnic and Day of Awesome (Rain date: June 17th): Students should bring a water bottle, sunblock, and a blanket or towel to sit on.
September 2026
September 2nd - Students First Day (All Students Report)
September 17 - 1⁄2 day for students
September 23-24 - Rosh Hashanah (No School/Offices Open)
May Highlights
Verizon Innovative Learning Mentor Summit
April Fox and Corey Sforza attended the Verizon Innovative Learning Mentor Summit. It was held in Scottsdale, Arizona and was run by Arizona State University. Teachers from all over the country attended!
The purpose of the summit was to empower teachers with knowledge of technology tools and instructional models to create environments that are active, collaborative, constructive, authentic, and goal-directed.
April needed to apply and be chosen for the role of a Senior Lab Mentor. Her responsibilities in this role is to work with 12 middle schools around the country as they open their own Verizon Innovative Learning Labs. April is responsible for guiding them as they learn the new technology, Verizon Lab curriculum, set up community nights, manage their labs, and help guide them in any way. Her mentee schools are located on the east coast from New York state to Alabama.
Band Concert
Mrs. Haydu led her band students in another amazing concert on May 8th! Mrs. Haydu outdid herself in this final performance before retirement. Thank you for all you're dedication and support for Armstrong's students. You will be missed.
Cultural Fair
7th grade social studies students hosted Cultural Fair for their end of the year project. Led my Mrs. Gravure and Mrs. Matthew, families were invited to visit and learn about cultures around the world.
5th Grade Visitation
5th grade students at Brookwood, Keystone, and Millcreek visited their future middle schools on May 28th. Students received a snack upon arrival, visited different classrooms with presentations from students, and enjoyed some time in the auditorium with the guidance team and athletic director. The day culminated in the gym with some pep rally style games that reinforced Armstrong's ROCKS expectations. Thank you to all involved in the the planning, 5th grade students, and teachers for a great day.
Growing Together Garden Grand Opening
June 2nd marked the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Growing Together Garden at Neil Armstrong. The garden, a culmination of hard work and dedication of the Junior National Honor Society, was funded through a grant secured by Student, Sophia Dorman.

DWA had an opportunity to perform at the movie screening. Students enjoyed previewing the movie and were given passes to the Adventure Aquarium.
Sports Physicals
Do you plan on trying out for any sports next year? This includes high school sports for the eighth graders. You need to have a sports physical in order to tryout. We will have sports physicals on Wednesay June 4th for $10 cash. This physical will be valid for the entire 2025-2026 school year.
Again, remember to bring your $10 cash in on Wednesday, June 4th so you can get your sports physical for next year’s sports!
BTSD Music Night @ Trenton Thunder
Reminder if you purchased tickets: The Trenton Thunder game is on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. It is the Trenton Thunder's opening day and it will also be Dollar Dog Night.
2025 Summer Food Service Program
Bristol Township's Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is Back!
This summer, the Food Service Department will once again provide breakfast and lunch to children 18 years of age and younger.
Starting Monday, June 23rd, Bristol Township's Food Service Department will be providing daily breakfast and lunch. These meals are offered free of charge to any child 18 years of age or younger. No application or registration is required and children do not need to be enrolled in a Bristol Township School District school.
Program Details
· Dates: June 23rd, 2025 – August 21st, 2025. (Operating Monday through Friday, with the exception of Friday, July 4th)
· Location: Truman High School (3001 Green Lane). Meals will be served in the cafeteria. Children need to be present to receive a free meal. Limit one breakfast and one lunch per child, per day. Please consume meals on-site.
· Meal Times: Breakfast – 8:00am to 8:45am | Lunch: 10:00am to 11:45am
· Menus will be posted on the Food Service Webpage (Bristoltwpsd.org – Departments – Food Service – Summer Meals Program)

Fab Lab Sumer Camp
Tennis Programs Available
The Bucks County Tennis Association, Inc., a non-profit stressing social/life skills by providing fun and affordable tennis programs throughout Bucks County. The BCTA partners with numerous municipalities throughout Bucks County, offering multiple outdoor seasons from April to October and indoor programs from November to March. Attached are fliers for the 2025 outdoor programs. Full and partial scholarships are also available for athletes in need.
Volunteer opportunities for high school students wishing to earn community service credits, and some of these opportunities evolve into paid positions.

Welcome to the Tiger Pride Parent Academy (TPPA), a dynamic series of educational programs and presentations created to empower Bristol Township School District parents and guardians.
