LHS 4.13.25

Dear Lincoln High School Families,
As the spring season brings fresh energy and renewal, I wanted to take a moment to wish each of you a warm and joyful Easter week. Whether you’re celebrating Easter traditions or simply enjoying the beauty of the season, I hope this time provides an opportunity for connection and reflection.
Just as Easter reminds us of the value of perseverance and fresh beginnings, it’s a great opportunity to encourage our students to stay focused and finish the school year strong.
The final stretch of the academic year can be challenging, but it is also a chance for our students to demonstrate resilience, determination, and pride in their accomplishments. Remind them that every effort they put in now, no matter how small, contributes to their growth and success. With your encouragement and support, we can help them cross the finish line with confidence.
Thank you for being such a vital part of their educational journey. Together, let’s inspire our students to embrace these final weeks with the same spirit of hope and renewal that this season represents.
Wishing you all a meaningful and joyful Easter,
Kindly, and with the best intentions,
Ms. Wendy Bridges
Principal, Lincoln High School

In the Classroom!
On April 7th Ms. Warford’s Sociology students participated in an aging simulation.
Students experienced firsthand some of the many aches and pains as well as sensory
losses commonly associated with the aging process. To be specific, students wore
glasses/goggles to simulate vision loss, they wore ear plugs to simulate hearing loss,
put beans in their shoes to simulate having bunions and they taped their fingers
together to simulate arthritis. Then they had to perform a variety of tasks. The students
not only enjoyed the activity but also developed an understanding and respect for the
effects of the aging process.
