Don't Forget - Wednesday Dismissal @ 3:00 pm
Students will be dismissed every Wednesday at 3:00 pm. Please be prompt as teachers are scheduled each week to participate in professional learning communities.
Deliveries During the Day
It happens to all of us. We forget something we needed for school or work at home. Fortunately, sometimes parents are able to drop items off for their child. To keep student focus on learning we would ask that such items be dropped off at the front door. We are happy to deliver these to your child or have your child’s teacher pick them up at an appropriate time.
Safety Drills
Each year we are asked to participate in a number of emergency drills that are designed to help staff and students respond in the case of an emergency. Included in the list of emergency drills are: fire drills, severe weather drills, evacuation drills, and lock down drills.
A "Lock Down drill" is conducted to prepare students and staff in the event there is a threat in or near the school. During the drill an all-school announcement is made over the intercom informing the staff that lock down procedures should be initiated.
In the near future, we will have a drill with our School Resource Officer who will be on hand to observe our procedures and provide feedback.
Please call our school office with any questions or concerns.
