JRE Staff Spotlight
Meet the Principal 🍎
Hello and welcome! My name is Lauren Tullos, and I am the Principal here at Jane Ruestmann Elementary. I am beginning my 18th year in education. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master's of Education in School Counseling and a Master's of Education in Educational Administration.
I grew up in North Richland Hills and graduated from Richland High School. I spent the next several years in Stephenville at TSU obtaining my degrees and traveling around before landing in the metroplex where I was a counselor in Dallas ISD. In 2021, I transitioned to the great Argyle ISD as the counselor at the intermediate school. I am so honored and excited to now serve the Jane Ruestmann Elementary community!
My husband, Marshall, and I live in Corinth with our pup, Zoe. We love all things outdoors, traveling and going on adventures. We are always trying to find new and cool places to eat. We make the best trivia team, and we are die-hard Cowboy fans.
Meet the Assistant Principal 🍏
Hello Eagle Families
I am extremely thankful to have the opportunity to work with you as Jane Ruestmann Elementary School's Assistant Principal. My name is Leeann Rudolph, and I have been in Argyle for 5 years. Serving as the assistant principal of this new campus is exciting to me!
I have been in education for 24 years. After graduating from Sam Houston State University, I taught 3rd and 4th grade in Angleton, Texas. During this time I attended the University of Houston- Clear Lake for my masters degree in mid management and also received my principal certificate. We then moved to Abilene, Texas where I worked for the Department of Defense as a grant administrator for an online math curriculum. I then moved to Freeport, Texas where I was the 504 and dyslexia coordinator. I have been in Argyle, Texas since 2019.
My family plays an extremely important role in my life and I am very proud of them. My husband is a varsity football coach/teacher at Argyle High School. I have two sons. My oldest is attending Angelo State University in the fall and my youngest will be a junior at Argyle High School.
Please reach out if you need anything from me. Serving our community is important to us here at Jane Ruestmann Elementary.
Meet the Counselor 🌼
Hello JRE!
I am ecstatic to be part of the amazing JRE family as we begin this new journey at our brand new campus! This is my 6th year as a campus counselor and my 13th year in education. Last year, I was one of the counselors at Argyle South Elementary. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in School Counseling. My husband, Josh, and I have been married for twelve years and we have one son, Joseph. We spend our time together outdoors exploring, playing, and having fun as a family. We are foodies and love to try new foods and restaurants!
My goal as a counselor is to support all students, families and staff at JRE. Please know that I am always available and here as a resource for both your student and your family. I can’t wait to get to know you all this year!
2024-25 Revised Student Handbooks and Dress Code Updates
We are pleased to announce that the revised Argyle ISD Student Handbooks and Dress Code for the 2024-2025 school year are now available. This summer, our campus principals and administrative teams have worked diligently to align our elementary (PreK-5th grade) and secondary (6th-12th grade) student handbooks to provide cohesive and grade-appropriate guidelines for our students.
At Argyle ISD, we hold high standards for academic and extracurricular opportunities for our students. Alongside these high standards, we also believe in maintaining high expectations for how we present ourselves at school each day as representatives of the Argyle ISD school community. To support this, our campus administrators have diligently worked to align the standards and expectations across our district.
One of the key areas we are focusing on is the dress code, including hair color, grooming, and certain clothing/costume accessories. Campus principals and administrative teams will be strictly enforcing the revised dress codes, and this communication is being shared now to provide parents ample time to review these updates and plan accordingly. We believe that high expectations and standards relating to the dress code will contribute to a positive learning environment and reflect the pride we take in being part of the Argyle ISD community.
You can review the revised student handbooks and dress code regulations on our district website under Parents & Students. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to your campus administration. Contact information can be found on our website under individual campus pages.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
