Husky Headlines 24-25 School Year
Home of Heroes, Leaders, and Champions
Welcome to Week 14- Veterans Day 11-11/CNUSD Family Engagement Week
Husky Families,
Happy Sunday! I trust that you are enjoying a wonderful weekend with family and loved ones. Please join me as we observe Veterans Day on 11-11-24. On this special day, we pay tribute to the veterans who have defended our country, often in challenging and perilous circumstances. They have shown incredible courage, resilience, and dedication, and their contributions deserve our respect and recognition. Let us use Veterans Day as a reminder to acknowledge the sacrifices made by our military personnel and express our heartfelt appreciation for their service. Together, we can ensure that our veterans know their dedication and valor are deeply valued, not just on this day but every day.
Next, our motto at Cen10 is “Together We Can, Together We Will.” To us, this means that we are constantly trying to improve together, support each other together, and make things happen together. We will all make mistakes, but the drive, resiliency, and character to grow every day will maximize our successes together.
As a reminder, 1st period begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Traffic will be heavy every day, especially due to the aquatic center construction currently taking place in the student parking lot. Please drop your Husky Scholar off with plenty of time to be seated in their 1st-period class, prior to 8:30 a.m. start time (Husky Scholars should arrive at least 15 minutes before the first bell to allow time for finding classrooms and settling in). Campus is open at 7:15 a.m. for your convenience. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students. ID cards are required every day.
Lastly, the purpose of this communication is to keep you up-to-date and informed of all things Cen10. Please read through carefully and reach out to us if we can provide further clarification. We look forward to seeing you around Cen10- the BEST HIGH SCHOOL in the state. WE are in this together!
Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.
Proud Husky,
Dr. Romero

Athletics
As we head into another week, let’s continue to show that we are KIND by STANDING UP FOR WHAT’S RIGHT. Here are some examples:
1. Defending classmates against bullying: If you witness someone being bullied, intervene by speaking up or seeking help from an adult.
2. Promoting inclusivity: Ensure that everyone feels welcome by inviting peers to join group activities, reaching out to those who may be isolated, and respecting differences.
3. Reporting unfair behavior: If you see cheating or dishonesty, you can stand up by reporting it to maintain fairness and integrity within the school community.
4. Supporting environmental causes: Advocating for sustainable practices, like reducing waste or encouraging recycling, promoting kindness to the planet.
By STANDING UP FOR WHAT’S RIGHT, you can create a positive and supportive environment that benefits the entire community. Let’s continue to follow THE H.U.S.K.Y WAY and receive those PAWSITIVE POINTS!
Minga Store
We are thrilled to announce that our MINGA STORE will officially open on Wednesday, November 13th! The store will open during both lunches in the 900 Quad, where Huskies can redeem their PAWSITIVE POINTS for a variety of rewards. Thanks to generous parent donations, our MINGA STORE has grown, and we are still accepting donations to keep the store stocked with exciting new rewards.
