Attendance
Weston,
I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of regular school attendance, especially during these foundational elementary years. Every day of school is a valuable opportunity for your child to learn, grow, and thrive. In Preschool, kindergarten and the early grades, students are building crucial skills that will shape their academic journey in subjects like reading and math. As parents and caregivers, we all want to give our children the best possible chance at a happy, healthy, successful future. One way to do that? Get them to school as often as possible! Being in school helps them develop in so many ways. Plus, they're able to connect with friends and adults, collaborate and problem-solve, think critically, be creative, and engage in hands-on learning.
When students miss school, they miss out on important instruction that can be difficult to catch up on later. Consistent attendance lays the groundwork for their success, and we want every child to feel confident and capable in their learning.
We are here to support you and your child in every step of their educational journey. Let’s work together to make this year the best one yet by ensuring that your child attends school regularly.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Eason
