Arrival & Dismissal Reminders- Student Safety is our Top Priority
Student safety continues to be our top priority. Arrival and dismissal times are extremely busy at the school site.
Campus supervision begins at 7:45. Please do not have students on campus before this time.
All students should be pick up at dismissal within 15 minutes of dismissal time.
TK -3rd grade students will need to be picked up near the 500 wing in the main parking lot.
4th - 8th grade students will be dismissed from their classrooms.
There are 2 locations for arrival and dismissal. Students may exit onto Tannehill or through the main parking lot on Sundance. In the main parking lot parents may park and walk up to get their student or they may stay in there car and go through the pick-up/drop-off line. Parents may not get out of their cars in this line as it creates a safety hazard and blocks traffic. Students must enter the car from the sidewalk (passenger's side). At no time should students be walking into the parking lot unless with an adult using the designated crosswalks.
In order to keep all pedestrians safe please remember:
- Drive slow and watch for students walking.
- Do not use your cell phone while driving. The less distractions the better.
- Stop and follow crossing guards directions.
- Use cross walks at all times.
Other Parking Lot Reminders:
When picking up from dismissal, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the bell. As this is causing traffic to back up into the street.
