Five Good Things in Spring
January 26, 2025

Jack Frost paid us a visit, and we’re still thawing out! We hope you stayed safe, warm, and had a blast building snowmen, making snow angels, or having epic snowball battles. Did your backyard look like a winter wonderland? Ours sure did! Check out some frosty fun over on Instagram and relive the magic. ❄️
Big news for one of our own! Iris Vences, a senior with a heart for leadership and service, has snagged the KPRC2 Senior Scholarship for 2025—and a cool $2,500 to go with it! 🙌 But that’s not all. Iris is graduating with a Dedicated Service Honor for her incredible volunteer work, from student recruitment to campus events. She’s also rocking her roles as Senior Class President, a member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Council, and an Alpha Ambassador. Oh, and did we mention? Despite being diagnosed with a hearing disability in third grade, Iris has become a self-advocate and an inspiration for the Hard-of-Hearing community. Let’s give a big cheer for Iris, proving that determination and heart can overcome anything! 💖
Trivia, glue sticks, and big laughs—oh my! The Mid-Year Meet-Up Dinner was full of surprises, and the Kahoot trivia game had everyone on the edge of their seats. The competition was fierce, but Marieliz came through as our trivia queen, snagging 3rd place with an impressive 9,506 points! 🥉👏 A huge shoutout to the Spring ISD Guidance and Counseling & Mental Health staff for bringing the energy and making the night one to remember. Here’s to bonding, growing, and a little friendly trivia drama!
The Razorbacks are hitting the field, and they mean business! 🥍 The Roberson lacrosse team is bringing their A-game this season, shooting, defending, and showing off that unstoppable Razorback spirit. 🐗 Let’s give them a big cheer and wish them the best as they crush it the rest of the season. Go Razorbacks! 🎉
Guess who took a step back in time this week? Our students! They dove into the extraordinary life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., exploring the magic of courage, kindness, and making choices that change the world. Thanks to Mr. Richardson, Mrs. Greenleaf, and Mrs. Dunevant, these sessions weren’t just educational—they were downright inspiring! Here’s to dreaming big, making bold moves, and building a brighter future for everyone! 🌟
