Johnson Newsletter
January 26, 2025
Good evening, Johnson parents and guardians!
Reaching the milestone of 100 is always a reason to celebrate: whether it's the 100th win, a 100th birthday, achieving 100% on a test, or completing 100 sales. At JES, we also make a big deal out of the 100th day of school! Not only are our students 100 days older than when they first started, but they are also 100 days smarter! With 100 days completed, we are more than halfway through the school year! From kindergarten to high school graduation, students experience just 2,340 days of education. Those days fly by quickly! So let's celebrate as much as we can! JES is grateful to be a part of your child's journey toward that 2,340th day!
Checkpoint testing begins this week for grades 3-5. This week we will complete the English Language Arts portion and next week we will tackle Math. Each checkpoint test has 20-25 questions and will show how your child is doing in key skills and concepts from the Indiana Academic Standards. This helps guide teaching and supports your child's learning.
We are looking at a full week this week with warmer weather! That is something to look forward to! Have an amazing week!
