Happy Sunday Eagles!
Welcome to the first week of the 2020-2021 school year! We are excited to see our students and look forward to working with you this year. As a reminder, students will attend face-to-face either on Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday weekly.
- Students in Cohort A will attend in person on Monday and Tuesday and will attend virtually on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Cohort A students’ first in person day will be Monday
- Students in Cohort B will attend in person on Thursday and Friday and virtually on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Cohort B students‘ first in person day will be Thursday
We have five important reminders for you this week:
1. All staff, students, and essential visitors must wear masks on campus. We will be able to provide masks for students who do not have one.
2. Our first bell rings at 7:30am and the tardy bell is at 8:00am. We ask Kindergarten students to arrive at 9am and are allowed two visitors to walk them to class the first week only.
3.Arrival and dismissal will look different this year. We ask all parents picking up students in a car to go through the car line.
4. School fees for all students this year are $32, this includes the technology fee, instructional fee, and art fee. Kindergartners will receive iPads and students in first through fifth grades will receive Dell laptops. Parents must sign the 1:1 paperwork that students will bring home on their first face-to-face day to receive their device.
5. We will be serving breakfast and lunch as a hub location for students who are working remotely and to OVS families. We will be serving on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:45-10:00am, at the back of the school and we’ll be serving on Wednesdays from 8:45-11:45am.
