Mustang Round Up for Parents

When backing out of the parking lot or driving forward on the road, please be extra cautious and remain vigilant at all times. Always check your surroundings, use your mirrors, and proceed slowly to ensure the safety of students who may be walking or crossing unexpectedly. Stay attentive, avoid distractions, and be prepared to stop if necessary to prevent accidents and keep everyone safe. Unsafe driving will be reported to police and citations can be issued.

Conference week is March 17 - 20. Teachers will send flyers home about conference sign ups on March 3rd. You will also receive the link via Class Dojo or you can click the link below.

March 3 - Spelling tests will be sent home for students to collect their pledges.

March 7 - All money is due for the Spell-a-thon.

Remember time springs ahead one hour on Sunday, March 9!

On March 10th, a link will be sent out via our calling system, class Dojo, and a flyer. Please take the time to provide feedback about your child's teacher as well as the special teacher listed on the flyer. These surveys are important and are used as part of the teacher evaluation process. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

During the Spring, the photographer takes all student pictures and sends the picture a week or two later for you to view and place an order if you wish. AEI is our school photographer.

What:

Students will be touring our State Capitol as well as the Old State Penetentiary

Time:

Students need to meet in the classroom @ 7:00am. The bus will leave promptly @ 7:15am. If your student is not on the bus, they cannot go on the field trip. The plan is to arrive back to the school around 4:00. Please be at the school by 3:45.

Lunch: Please remember to bring a lunch unless you have requested one from the school already.

Permission Slips Required: If a permission slip has not been signed, students will remain at the school.

Dismiss at 12:45

Starting after Spring Break, students in grades 3-5 will start taking ISAT tests. Testing starts at 8:30 am. Please be aware of testing dates and have your students eat a good dinner, get to bed on time, and get to school on time.
