Weekly Bulletin April 1st, 2024
CAASP Testing - Juniors only
Starting Tuesday, April 2nd, Juniors will begin CAASPP testing. While this can be an intense time for many students, the goal is to provide a stress-free testing experience. In order to give the best possible experience, we ask for your help in celebrating our students and their efforts. Please encourage your students to get a healthy night's rest and a well-balanced breakfast to help feed their minds as they prepare to showcase their abilities. Testing will begin at 8:45 am, after students check in to their first-period class and report to their testing rooms.
Testing dates are as follows:
April 2nd: ELA Computer Adaptive Test (ELA CAT)
April 4th: ELA Performance Task (PT)
April 8th: Math Computer Adaptive Test (MATH CAT)
April 9th: Math Performance Task (MATH PT)
April 11th: Science Computer Adaptive Test (SCIENCE CAST) [Select Sophomores will also participate]
Please encourage your students to be on time and participate to their full capabilities. There will be prizes for a culmination of visible effort, attendance, and behavior. Students will be entered to win TVs, prom tickets, Viking gear, and more. Make-up days for testing will be available if students miss.
