Materials Fees
The elementary material fees are now due. These fees will be used by LEE to purchase specific nonstandard classroom materials, such as school planners, word books, and writing paper. Since these materials are for both individual and group use, the fees will be pooled and deposited into a dedicated account at LEE.
The $10 fee should be paid by October 14, 2024. Payments can be made by check (payable to LEE), cash, or by clicking here.
Reminder: No Parking in the Staff Parking Lot
Please remember that the staff parking lot is reserved exclusively for school staff. Parents should not park in this area during drop-off or pick-up times. The only exception is for parents dropping off students for Eagle's Nest. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the staff parking lot clear for our teachers and staff. Thank you for your understanding!
Jog-A-Thon
Just a friendly reminder—the Jog-A-Thon is coming up soon! It's a great way for our kids to stay active while raising funds for essential school programs like PARAs, assemblies, field trips, and more.
Please continue fundraising as we work toward our $25,000 goal. Donations are due by Friday, September 27th, the day of the event. Thank you so much for your support in helping your student and our school succeed!

Jog-A-Thon Encouragement Posters
The PTO will be outside of the school Wednesday September 25th from 2:30-3:30pm with all of the supplies needed to make a Jog-A-Thon Encouragement Poster! You can decorate here or take them home and fill them up with words of encouragement and enthusiasm. Posters that are taken home should be returned by Thursday, September 26th. Posters will be set up around the track on the morning of the Jog-A-Thon for your child to see while they run. Please consider a $3 donation (cash or check made payable to Longmont Estates Elementary PTO) to help the PTO with fundraising for our school.

Gifted and Talented Referrals
Each year, schools in St. Vrain Valley School District complete a process to identify students who demonstrate exceptional ability or performance in one or more academic and/or talent areas and may, therefore, qualify for Gifted/Talented educational services. These students usually perform at least two years above grade level in their strength area(s), and they require additional academic challenges in order to support their continued educational growth and progress. In addition, they usually demonstrate characteristics of unique creativity and high motivation in their strength areas.
Referrals are open through the month of September and will close on the last day of the month. Referrals after that date will be addressed on a case by case basis. Completing a referral guarantees a review of the student profile to determine if testing is recommended for the student. The process for identification requires a body of evidence and often takes place throughout the school year.
The process takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
