We’re in the final stretch before intersession, and this is our time to Eagle Up and rise to the challenge! Let’s be here, be on time, do our best, and dress our best as we finish strong this February. Attendance matters, and every day counts! Let’s make this a week of excellence! 💪🏽✨

📌 ✨ TELPAS Testing Continues – Let’s Show What We Know!
Students, this is your time to shine and showcase your language skills! Give it your all and show how much you’ve grown!
📌🦅 Eagle Clubs & Dance Practice – Thursday after school:
- Eagle Clubs continue for all participating students.
- Eagle Flight Dance Team practice from 3:00-5:00 PM. Keep shining, dancers!
📌 💡 Parent Engagement Session – Building Self-Esteem & Behavior
📅 Tuesday, February 25 | ⏰ 8:00 AM | 📍 Room 102
Join us for an important session on building confidence and positive behavior in our kids! Bonus: Parents who attend will earn a free dress day for their child on Wednesday! Because when parents show up, students soar!
📌 🏃♂️ Family Fitness Friday – Let’s Move and Win!
Lace up those sneakers and bring your energy! The class with the most laps (including families!) will take home the championship trophy! Let’s get active, have fun, and show that EHES Eagles are strong inside and out!
📌 🏆 We Did It! 1,500 Cans Collected for El Paso Fighting Hunger!
A huge shoutout to our EHES community for coming together and collecting an amazing 1,500 cans to help those in need! 🎉 A special congratulations to Ms. Vasquez’s PK Class, our Canned Food Drive Champions, who brought in an incredible 201 cans! 🥫👏 Your generosity and teamwork are what being an EHES Eagle is all about!📌 ⏳ Countdown to Intersession & Spring Break!

Kindness in the Classroom Unit 5: Responsibility
Unit 5: Responsibility lessons will begin the week of Feb.3rd-24th

- Extraordinary Eagle: Will be held on March 19th. This event is dedicated to students who display exemplary characteristics of “Responsibility". Classroom teachers nominate only one student per classroom. This event is by special invitation only.
- K.i.C. school-wide Project 5: Valen-Kind Week Dress Up & Home Activities
Library News📚
Our "Build A Penguin Reading Challlenge" ends on Wednesday , February 26th. Students need to make sure to take their reading logs to the Eastwood Heights Library to continue getting their penguin pieces to complete building their penguins. Last day to get penguin pieces at the library is no later than the end of the day February 26, 2025. Winners will be announced on Friday, February 28th.
