A Note from your School Psychologist
October is National Bullying Prevention Month! This nationwide campaign was started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Council to educate communities about bullying prevention. We will engage in a variety of activities and lessons this month to engage our students in conversations about defining bullying and supporting one another. Together, all the elementary schools will ask our students to sign the “Be a Kid Against Bullying” pledge to culminate the month’s activities.
On October 25, all of the elementary schools will be celebrating Unity Day. We ask that all of our students and staff to wear an orange shirt to show that we are "united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion." Please click the following link for more information on Unity Day: http://www.pacer.org/bullying/nbpm/unity-day.asp
