Life Skills Program
The successful Life Skills Program made its highly anticipated return in January and officially concluded last week, leaving a lasting impact on all who participated. Throughout the program, students worked closely with dedicated facilitators to set personal and professional goals, enhance their employability skills, and gain valuable knowledge in financial literacy and other essential life skills. In addition to these enriching learning experiences, participants enjoyed free meals each week, fostering a sense of community and support. The program not only equipped students with practical tools for their future but also empowered them with the confidence to navigate life's challenges successfully.
NBA 2k25 Tournament
On March 27th, the Youth Center hosted an NBA 2K25 tournament where students competed against each other in an exciting showdown. The winner and runner-up were rewarded with gift cards for their impressive gameplay.
PBIS Attendance & Grades
The Flagler County Youth Center continued its efforts to promote positive behavior both in and out of the classroom. Students who earned all A’s on their quarter three report cards received pizza, chips, and a drink. Those who earned A’s and B’s had the option to choose two of these items. We hope our students continue to work hard to improve both their grades and themselves.
G.W. Carver Center Operations
