We are so excited to announce our winter season! We have both new classes and returning favorites, as well as our new Two Day special Valentine's class and a One Day St. Patrick Day class! We look forward to seeing your students in classes soon!
What is Lions Club?
NCA's Lion's Club was created to provide a wide variety of exciting and educational after-school enrichment opportunities for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Registration is open by season (fall, winter & spring) and includes Monday-Thursday after-school classes, music lessons, and more!
The goal of Lion’s Club Enrichment is to build a Christ-centered community for our students beyond the school day. When students are given the opportunity to connect with others who share common interests and hobbies, community and friendships will thrive!
Heartfelt Creations - Two Day Event
Join us for a fun and creative Valentine’s Craft Class where love and artistry come together! Whether you’re looking to make personalized cards, hand-painted gifts, or charming decorations, this class is perfect for spreading the love in a unique and crafty way. We'll provide all the supplies and guidance you need to create beautiful, heartfelt pieces to share with your family or friends. Bring your creativity, and let’s make this Valentine’s Day extra special with handmade treasures!

St. Patrick's Day Cookie Decorating - One Day Event
Join us for a fun, hands-on cookie decorating class where your students will learn how to transform plain cookies into festive works of art. Whether they are a beginner or a seasoned pro, this class will guide them through decorating techniques using vibrant green, gold, and rainbow-colored icing. they will master the art of piping, flooding, and creating beautiful shamrocks, pots of gold, and more. By the end of the day, your student will have some delicious, beautifully decorated cookies to share with friends and family!

Beginning Piano
In each piano/keyboard class students will learn to read and write music, learn to play numerous songs, experience ensemble playing, ear training, music theory, fun musical games, and rhythm and movement activities. Your children will love to come to piano lessons! Parents are welcomed to the last class of the session for a mini-recital to applaud your children's accomplishments!
Requirement: Students must have a keyboard or piano to practice on and be prepared to practice daily.

(Content is the same for Winter season and the Fall season Beginning Piano. If your student has already participated in Beginning Piano, they may not retake the class).

Advanced Piano
Students continue to grow in their piano/keyboard abilities. Honor Choir
For students in grades 2-4

Honor Choir is for the 2nd-4th grader in your family who lives with a song in their heart. We want to nurture and inspire your student’s passion for singing!
This is an auditioned ensemble that meets every Monday and Wednesday for one hour of rehearsal, community building, and lots of music fun! We will have performance opportunities throughout the year to showcase what we have been working on. NCA has a strong tradition of fine music making, and now our young singers can participate too!

Sweet Creations: Food Decorating Fun
For All Grades
Unleash your inner artist with our Food Decorating Class! Whether your student is a beginner or a seasoned baker, this hands-on class will teach them how to turn simple treats into edible masterpieces. From decorating cupcakes, cookies, and cakes to creating fun, festive designs, they'll learn tips and tricks for frosting, piping, and adding creative touches to their favorite sweets.

LEGO Builders
LEGOs are fun, but building LEGO creations with friends is SUPER FUN! Students will participate in LEGO building competitions and challenge each other to create everything from a new playground design to an entire cityscape!

Winter Wonderland Arts & Crafts
Embrace the cozy charm of the season and get creative with our Winter Wonderland Arts & Crafts class! From snowflakes and winter scenes to handmade decor, this class will inspire your student to craft their way through the colder months. The students can make unique gifts or decorate your home with beautiful, one-of-a-kind creations to brighten up your winter days.

Babysitting Basics
The Lions Club Babysitting Basics Course will prepare your student to be a successful and safe babysitter! Students will receive certification through the American Red Cross Babysitting Basics course as well as receive live, hands-on CPR/First Aid training by an American Heart Association representative. Not only will there be great safety training, students will also have a lot of FUN learning how to change diapers, soothe fussy babies, and more.

Jr. Astronomers
Blast off into the wonders of the universe with our Junior Astronomers class! This exciting class is designed for young explorers who are curious about the stars, planets, and galaxies. We will become astronauts to learn about the solar system and make 3D replicas of the planets! We will also construct a rocket simulation. This class will ignite a passion for space and inspire a sense of wonder about the cosmos.

Trees to Treasures: Woodworking
For students in All Grades
There is so much satisfaction in building things with our own two hands! Let's turn off the screens and unplug while making toys and projects the good ol' fashioned way. Students will build several projects while learning measuring, project planning, and pride in their finished hard work. This will be a basic woodworking class using hammer and nails, screws, and wood glue (no sawing or power tools).

The Greatest Show: NCA Edition
Let your child's creativity flow through movement in our Greatest Show Class! This class is perfect for young dancers who are eager to explore the art of choreographed dance! Students will work on following a dance routine, collaborating with peers, and refining their performance skills. From learning different dance styles to experimenting with new rhythms, this class will foster self-expression, teamwork and confidence!

Snack Attack: Fun with Healthy Foods
Join us in the kitchen to discover how fun (and delicious) fruits, veggies, and proteins can be! Create fun and healthy after-school snacks while learning the importance of kitchen safety, food prep and nutrition.

Art Exploration: Color and Technique
Come and explore the wonderful world of art and color through various artistic mediums! Experience watercolor, oil pastels, tempera paint, and a variety of different techniques to create brilliant works of art!

Brain Break Party
Exercise might not be on the top of anyone's list, but when you throw in some fun brain breaks and awesome dance moves, students will be working up a sweat without even knowing it's good for them! Join Mrs. J for a celebration of music and movement, bust a move, and get that heart pumping!

LEGO Architects
Unlock your child's inner architect with our LEGO Architects class! In this hands-on, creative class, young builders will design, construct, and bring to life their very own architectural masterpieces using LEGO bricks. From towering skyscrapers to detailed cityscapes, students will learn about the fundamentals of architecture, engineering, and design while honing their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

S.T.E.A.M
For students in grades K-5
Ignite your child’s curiosity and creativity in our STEAM class, where science, technology, engineering, art, and math come together for an exciting, hands-on learning experience! We will be growing rock candy, making our own instruments, building boats, and much more. This dynamic class offers a perfect blend of exploration and innovation, allowing students to tackle real-world challenges through engaging projects that integrate all five disciplines.

Canvases & Creativity
For Students in Grades 3-8
Immerse your child in a world of color and creativity with our Painting Class. Whether they are a beginner or an experienced artist, this class offers a welcoming environment to explore various painting techniques and styles. They will learn the fundamentals of color theory, brushwork, and composition, while also being encouraged to express your unique artistic vision.

Lions Cheer Clinic
For students in all grades
Calling ALL LIONS! Come and share your school spirit for NCA! Cheerleading develops confidence, leadership skills, teamwork skills and performance skills all while exercising and having FUN!! Participants will be divided by experience and learn cheerleading basics, chants, cheers, and a dance routine! GO NCA!

When does registration close?
Some classes fill up very quickly! If you want to secure your spot, think about registering early. All enrollments are first come, first served.
How do I enroll in Enrichment Classes?

How does my child get to his/her Enrichment class?
How do I pick up my student from an Enrichment class?
Please remember to be prompt! We have a 5-minute grace period. After the grace period you will be assessed a fee for late pick-up.
Students enrolled in After Care will be taken to the lobby for pick-up with their class at 4:45pm and will be escorted down to After Care at 4:55pm.
The class I wanted to enroll in is full. What now?
You can request to be placed on the waitlist in CampBrain. All enrollments are first come, first served and waitlist students will be processed in the order they were received.
We cannot guarantee that a spot will open for your student, but full classes and waitlists let us know which classes we should offer again!
Do we have class on non-school days?
If school is cancelled for any reason, including inclement weather, Enrichment classes will not be held. These classes will either be rescheduled or you will be refunded for the missed class.
What is your refund policy?
You may always drop a class after the deadline, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
