Trimester Milk Fees Due
A new trimester begins on Dec. 4th. Trimester milk fees are $21.00. Please send in an envelope labeled milk fees with your child’s name included. Thank you!!
Dress for the Cold Weather
Please make sure your child is dressed for the cold weather when he/she leaves the house to come to school. If the temperatures are above zero with the wind-chill, students will be going outside for recess. A hat, gloves/mittens, snow pants, jacket, and snow boots are necessary if your child wants to play in the snow. Also we want students to be safe and warm in their travels to and from school.
Mileage Club
Rock Ledge Intermediate Students will be walking/running on Tuesdays & Thursdays during their recesses. The ¼ mile track is set up on the playground with cones. Every time the students go around, they get their card scanned. When they have scanned 20 laps they have run 5 miles and they get a necklace and a toe token from their Physical Education Teacher. After every 5 miles, they get a toe token and a ticket to go into a monthly drawing for “A Free PE Class” or “Free Swim Pass” or assorted prizes. There will also be a classroom challenge for a free recess. There will be Yearly Prizes also given out for each grade:
1st Place- Gatorade Water Bottle with Gatorade Insert
2nd Place – 4 Pack Timber Rattler Tickets
3rd Place – 4 Pack Rocker Tickets
SCS Community Giving Tree
This year we will be helping our students in need by having two Giving Tees in our community, they are located at Don's Quality Market in Seymour and Sal's Foods in Black Creek. Community members can pick an ornament off a tree and donate items for students in our district. Please help our Seymour families in need by visiting one of these local businesses and picking an ornament for a local student and help make their holidays a little brighter. Donations should be unwrapped and be dropped off at Seymour Middle School. Any questions, please call Jeanna Zuelke at 920-833-7199 ext 363.
Pick Up/Drop Off Safety
We need your cooperation to keep our students safe during morning drop off and afternoon pick up in front of our school. Please use the INSIDE LANE ONLY to pick up and drop off your child. Students should exit the vehicle from the passenger side of your vehicle. If you need to have a discussion with your child please park in the parking stall while you talk with your child. When you have finished the discussion please walk with your child across the drive lanes using the designated crosswalks to each office. This will help keep the inside lane moving for pick-up/drop-off traffic.
When you see a parent and child waiting to cross near the end of the drive, please slow down. For our children’s safety, please drive slowly and cautiously.
Kobussen Bus
If you have any questions or concerns about bussing please reach out to Kobussen Bus before calling the school. Kobussen will contact the school if further details are needed. Thank you!
