State Testing - What our families need to know
When we return from Spring Break, Arizona State Assessments will begin.
Beginning March 24th - AZ Science - Grades 5, 8, and 11
Beginning March 31st - AASA Testing (Writing, Math, and Language Arts) - Grades 3-8
April 8th - ACT Testing at KHS - Grade 11
April 15th - ACT Aspire Testing at KAHS - Grade 9
What we ask from our families:
1. It is important that your child is at school in attendance for testing. Schools in Arizona are held accountable for the amount of students tested and the results and data we receive from these assessments are very important.
2. Please make sure that your children are getting plenty of sleep and eating healthy meals before and during the school day. Keeping our students sharp with plenty of rest and a balanced meal before testing will lead to students remaining focused and doing their very best.
3. Emphasize to your students to always do their best. Effort plays a big part in the results of these assessments.

KAHS Renaissance Car Show - April 5th
The 2nd Annual Tigers Car Show is set for April 5th at 10:00 AM. Free to the public! All proceeds benefit the KAHS Renaissance Club.
KA Peer Counselor Prom Store opens April 4th!
The Kingman Academy of Learning High School Peer Counselors are collecting donations for the formal events at our schools. As a group, they would like to help any student who may not be able to afford a dress, suit, or any other fun thing or clothing item that goes along with enjoying a formal dance or event.
We are asking for new or gently used
Formal Dresses
Dress shirts
Blazers & Sport Coats
Ties & Bow Ties
Suit Pants
Men’s Shoes & Dress Socks
Women’s Shoes
Accessories (necklaces, bracelets, belts, etc.)
Nail gift cards
Hair gift cards
We are in need of all sizes of clothing and shoes.
Donations can be accepted at any KA school and will be picked up by our Peer Counselors.
