PUSD 2025-2026 Continuing Student Registration is open!
Online Continuing Student Registration will be open until March 31, 2025. We MUST receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2025-2026 school year. This annual digital process allows a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection.
Continuing Registration Steps:
Login and complete the digital registration packet via the online registration portal found here.
Review and complete any required forms located at the conclusion of the process. A packet is not considered finalized until this step is completed.
Please note: MEDICATION FORMS or ADDITIONAL SIGNED SITE SPECIFIC FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR.
Forgot your username or password? Need technical help? Please email your current Principal as soon as possible if you do not plan to return to PUSD for the 2025-2026 school year.

Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, PUSD Transitional Kindergarten will be a full-day program.

This week our school participated in a No Place For Hate lesson, focusing on family traditions. We began reading The Day You Begin and joined in activities that celebrate our differences and saw that we are all connected and have more in common than not. The Los Pen family has over 35 languages from over 45 countries, allowing all of us to celebrate how wonderful our traditions are and an opportunity to learn more about our friends.
At Los Pen we take pride in celebrating our rich customs and traditions that bring us together. These traditions create a sense of belonging and help us stay connected to our roots. Whether it's special family recipes, holiday rituals, or unique cultural practices, we recognize that each of our traditions creates a beautifully diverse community. By sharing these moments with one another, we learn, appreciate, and grow together. Let's continue to honor the unique ways our families celebrate and the bonds that make us stronger as a whole. Together, we create a shared history that unites us all.
On April 25th we will celebrate all of our cultures at Los Peñ at our Around the World Night. Come as a family and explore the whole globe on one campus on one night!

It’s hard to believe it but it’s already time to begin to think about the 2025-2026 school year!
Here are some important dates to mark on your calendars:
Transfer Requests - beginning on February 1st at 8:00 am, we will accept transfer requests for students who live in the Poway Unified boundaries and would like to attend a different Poway school. This includes incoming siblings of current students, as well as students who have not yet enrolled. Transfer requests can be made on the Poway Unified website by clicking THIS link. The transfer window closes on March 31st at 5:00 pm.
Continuing Student Registration - from February 28 - March 31st, all parents whose current students will continue in Poway Unified for the 2025-26 school year need to complete online continuing registration. Look for more information coming soon.
New Student Enrollment - beginning on April 1st at 8:00 am, new student enrollment opens on the Poway Unified website. We are excited to welcome our new students!
