Food for Families
Katy ISD’s Partners in Education invites the community to bring hope to families in need this holiday season through our biannual Food for Families campaign. Katy ISD campuses identify students for the program while Partners in Education collects community and corporate donations. Grocery gift cards and a note of support from the Katy ISD community are then delivered to each student by a campus staff member.
Contributions in any amount are welcome and appreciated. Those interested in helping these Katy ISD families experience a happier holiday season should donate by December 9. Donations are accepted online, through Katy ISD Pay N’ Go, or via check, remitted to “Katy ISD Food for Families” and mailed to Partners in Education, Katy ISD ESC, 6301 South Stadium Lane, Katy 77494.
Jordan Dance Opportunity for Junior High Students
This year we are including 8th graders at Jordan in our varsity tryouts in March 2025 and this opportunity allows them to volunteer at a contest to get great experience and an inside eye on competition day!
Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA)
Are your students ready to discover the exciting world of academic competition with the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA)? TMSCA provides students with the opportunity to enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills while participating in fun, challenging contests. By joining TMSCA, students deepen their understanding of math and science and build confidence and teamwork skills that will benefit them for years to come.

Your student is invited — please RSVP
Dear families,
We’re going to Italy & Greece AND Australia & New Zealand in Summer 2026, and you’re invited!
We’re excited to tell you more about the trips we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for these opportunities: https://bit.ly/3yZiDhY
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.
In this info session, we’ll talk about:
- How these opportunities will benefit your student
- What we’ll see and do on our trips
- Everything that’s included in these experiences
- How your child can earn academic credit
- How we’re keeping this safe and affordable
- How to enroll on these trips (before they fill up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period
There are limited spots on both tours, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
Thanks,
Andrea Mann & Julie Darger
Please note this is a non-school sponsored trip.
Student ID Procedures:
Secondary students must wear their ID badges at all times during school hours, while on school property. If a student loses the ID, a replacement must be purchased promptly from the designated school office/location. Students must have their ID visible and ready to go at the start of 1st period. If, for any reason, a student does not have their ID with them in the morning, they will be required to purchase a new ID. Parents will receive an email with a Pay N Go link to conveniently pay $3.00 for the replacement ID. Failure to follow these procedures may be considered a violation of the Discipline Management Plan and Student Code of Conduct. For more information regarding student ID badges, please review the Discipline Management Plan and Student Code of Conduct
The drop off of ID's will not be accepted at the front office after 8:55.
