Hello Jag Nation,
It was simply an unbelievable day at Doherty and Russell. I cannot believe how well it went. Truly with the support from everyone involved it was a huge success. We definitely know there are improvements we can make, but seriously overall today felt great!.
Each school welcomed us with open arms this morning whether it was the WEB ambassadors at Russell or the cheerleaders at Doherty. In addition, the staff at both buildings have gone above and beyond to help support us and make us feel welcomed.
The outpouring of support from our entire school community has been overwhelming whether it has been someone volunteering their time or providing lunch to the staff, thank you, thank you, thank you! We also appreciate your patience and kindness as we worked to create a Jenkins in two new locations. Thank you for your grace.
Throughout the day staff members constantly checked in with students and used the time as an orientation and as a way to reconnect and build a path for moving forward.
We will continue to communicate updates and information throughout this process. Below I shared some pictures of our kiddos in their new learning environments. We will share more of these amazing pictures next week.
