November Character Trait - Gratitude
HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD-Thursday, DEC. 12TH 4:30-6:00 PM
Your teacher has chosen your classroom's country. You should have received an email with details of the event and what donations are needed for the classroom. This is a great family event, but as always, it cannot be successful with parent volunteers and participation from our Harmony families.
Thursday clubs and tutorials will be canceled this day. Please make arrangements to pick your student up at 3:20 during regular dismissal.
Classroom Spelling Bee - Week of Dec. 9th
HSA-CP will be having classroom spelling bees in all 1st-5th grade reading classes the week of December 9th. Your child's reading teacher will provide the specific date for their class. Spelling bee study sheets (1 page front and back) have been sent home. Students should study the words for their current grade level as well as the grade level above. The top two spellers from each section will advance to the school-wide spelling bee on Monday, January 13th. Parents of classroom spelling bee winners will be notified via email and will be invited to join us for the schoolwide spelling bee.
***Tip for studying: Read the word aloud for your student, then have your student repeat the word, spell the word, then repeat the word again to show they are finished spelling. This will be the same process students will follow during their classroom and schoolwide bees.
LOST & Found will be donated this FRIDAY, NOV. 22nd - Please stop by and Look!!!

Being on-time to School is Important!!
Instruction begins promptly at 7:45. Students arriving late to school will receive one Reinforcement Point (RP) for each tardy they receive. You will receive an email notification regarding this RP. The purpose is to notify you of the importance of being at school on-time.

Being Mindful of Highly Allergic Foods
Good Afternoon,
As a school, we have changed to peanut-free lunches serving students sunflower butter instead of peanut butter.
- Please be mindful of your children's lunches to avoid highly allergic foods with students.
- Remind your children to clean and wash thoroughly after lunch in order to decrease the spread of germs and potential allergic reactions to other students.
- If a student knows they are allergic to an item that another student might have close by, please have them tell a staff member so we can sit them somewhere else.
- Also, remind your children to never share their food with another student.
Have an afternoon appointment??
Monday - Thursday: students must be picked up BEFORE 2:45 and on Fridays BEFORE 12:45 pm
This policy allows students to be picked up prior to the beginning of dismissal and ensures you are able to leave the campus in a timely manner.
