Mary Hogan Family Newsletter
Update from Principal Jen Kravitz
October 18, 2024
Dear Mary Hogan Families,
After a long weekend, we had an amazing week this week. Students put kindness rocks around Middlebury, visited Dead Creek Wildlife Refuge, explored in Battell Woods, began their experience with Shakespearean English, played games with college baseball players, voted for student council - and all the normal routines too. It was pretty epic and so wonderful to feel the joy.
One of my highlights was Wednesday when we had Unity Day. Students and staff broke out their orange clothes and created messages of kindness, inclusion, and anti-bullying. Students across the school were talking about the day and how to make sure that they filled school with kindness. 5th graders will be making a paper chain of all the messages students wrote this coming week, so more about this in the coming week!
I hope you all have a restful and wonderful weekend.
💙, Jen
