SouthLake Christian Community,
Today marked a truly significant occasion as we kicked off the celebration of SouthLake Christian's remarkable 30th anniversary. This event was not just any ordinary day; it was a special gathering that brought together our entire school community for a memorable assembly. The assembly featured inspiring messages from our Interim Head of School, Mrs. Rebekah Leonard, along with our Upper School Head, Ms. Makla, our Middle School head, Ms. Thomas, and our Spiritual Life Director, Mr. Piteo. We were also treated to uplifting worship music performed by Hannah Belvin, a talented alumnus from the class of 2019. Following the assembly, all staff and students came together on the field to participate in a unique commemorative photograph, capturing the spirit of this milestone. A special thank you goes to another one of our alumni, class of 2018, Jason Hudak from Hootie Captures, for skillfully documenting this important moment in our school's history.
