End of the 23-24 School Year

Parents and Guardians,

I want to express my gratitude for your collaboration throughout this school year. We gain valuable insights each year as we welcome new students and families to Congress. This summer, we will devise plans to enhance our efforts in providing a safe and inclusive environment for students to thrive and learn how to become productive citizens.

On Wednesday, May 22nd, we invited our 8th-grade families to join our 8th-grade students for their 8th-grade Celebration. During the celebration, we highlighted each student by displaying their picture in a slideshow and invited parents or guardians to share an inspiring quote for their student. Please note that the quotes selected by parents do not represent Congress Middle School.

During the celebration, we also recognized several other groups of students by displaying their names on slides and asking them to stand. It's important to note that 8th Grade is a promotion, not a graduation. This distinction means that not all students walk across the stage. We want to reserve that moment for their high school years.
