St. Michael Elementary Newsletter

St. Michael Elementary is once again doing One School, One Book during I Love to Read month in February.

Every family got the book, Fenway and Hattie. Thank you to the STME PTO for donating the books!

A calendar was sent home with the date and chapter assigned accordingly. Each night, students are encouraged to read the assigned chapter independently or with a parent/guardian. If you have more than one student at STME, they may read it together, separately, or together as a family.

The following morning, we will ask a trivia question about the assigned chapter. Students will then have the opportunity to submit their answer to the question and we will draw names each day for students to win a free book.

We are very excited about One School, One Book, and we hope you are too!

18 - School Board Meeting - 6 pm

27 - Grade 3 Music Concerts

28 - PTO Book Bingo

Concerts are performed at Middle School West Auditorium at 6:00 and 7:00

3rd Grade: Thursday, February 27th

1st Grade: Thursday, April 10th

Online kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school opens on Monday, February 3rd! Please visit the Albertville Primary website at: https://ap.stma.k12.mn.us/kindergarten-registration1 for more information, as well as the link to register.

Registration information and details for Kindergarten Open House (May 2025) and Kindergarten Orientation (September 2025) will be mailed to families with potential kindergarteners at the end of January.
