Join MV Theater for their spring musical. The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm, and elegance. This enchanted edition brings new depth and sparkle to the story of Cinderella with mesmerizing music, enchanting dances, and some delightful twists that reinvigorate the timeless charm of our heroine's tale.

SHOW TIMES:

• Friday (5/3) at 7:00 PM
• Saturday (5/4) at 7:00 PM
• Sunday (5/5) at 1:00 PM

Tickets are $12.00 for Adults and $10.00 for Students/Seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at mvtheater.org.

With a busy show weekend involving lots of magical experiences for the 2000+ guests we are expecting, we are short of volunteers. Duties include handing out programs, greeting guests in the lobby, and showing people to their seats. If you volunteer, you will receive a free ticket for the show. (If you already plan to attend, then these jobs are the perfect jobs for you - think of it, all you have to do is help out before the show begins, and then you attend the show for free on the same night!!)

MORNING AP EXAMS

• Provided transportation to the testing site will leave the circle drive at 8:20 AM.
• If you are taking a morning AP exam, lunch will be available even if you miss your assigned lunch time. (Estimated arrival time back to MV is 1:00 PM.)

AFTERNOON AP EXAMS

• If you are taking an afternoon AP exam, you will be released from class early to have lunch at 10:40 AM.
• Provided transportation to the testing site will leave the circle drive at 11:15 AM. (Estimated arrival time back to MV is 4:00 PM.)

DO YOU LOVE TO DANCE? Then join the Viewettes Competitive Dance Team! Come to our Spring Clinics on Wednesday (5/8) and Thursday (5/9) to learn to correctly kick, turn and jump in the style of Dance Team, while learning a short combo that you will perform at tryouts. This two-day clinic will help to prepare you and give you the knowledge to tryout for our summer training program and the Viewettes Dance High School Competitive Team on Friday (5/10).

(All current 6th-11th graders are eligible to tryout!)

TRYOUT DETAILS: (no dance experience required)

• MVHS MAC GYM #4
• Wednesday (5/8): 5-8 PM (clinic)
• Thursday (5/9): 5-8 PM (clinic)
• Friday (5/10): 5-8 PM (you will be assigned a 20 minute tryout time between 5-8 PM)
• Come dressed in form fitting athletic clothing, dance shoes, hair pulled back with a water bottle.

Diversity Council is holding a Domino’s Pizza fundraiser until the end of this week. Purchase a “Dough Card” and for every large pizza bought, you get one for FREE. Money raised will go towards the annual Cultural Festival’s free food.

Are you a solo artist or do you have a band and are looking for a chance to perform? The Rock Orchestra Concert is coming up, and we’re looking for opening acts! If you are interested, you will need to audition for Mr. Shogren on Wednesday (5/8) before school, during ReFLECT, or after school. This is your chance to perform as a soloist or in a band! The concert is on Tuesday (5/28). The signup sheet can be found in the music wing, just outside the orchestra room.

During Staff Appreciation Week (May 6-10), help us send notes of appreciation to our Mounds View Public Schools staff.

We are only a month away from graduation and the senior party!! We already have 280 seniors registered!! GREAT JOB CLASS OF 2024!! At this time, we only have 30 yard signs left for purchase.

The senior party will occur immediately after graduation on Monday night, June 3, 2024. Check-in will start at MVHS at 9:45PM, ALL attendees will be transported via bus to the venue, BOWLERO in Blaine by 10:30PM and we will depart back to MVHS starting at 3AM.

If seniors have NOT signed up yet, please register soon! Those registered by MAY 10th will be guaranteed a gift bag! At the party, all student attendees will have a chance to win raffle prizes as well. Additional information will be shared in a couple of weeks. Don't miss out! We are proud and want to celebrate you!
