A Message from the Principal
Dear Families,
One of our goals this year as a school was to increase our partnerships with families and to find more ways to involve families in our Chain Lake community. We have loved seeing more adults around school - through our Watch DOG program, volunteering, during conferences, at events, and more! Our school thrives when families are actively engaged in their children's education and school activities. Research consistently shows that students perform better academically and socially when their families are involved in their education.
Another important way that we work to engage families is through our amazing PTA! The PTA is a vital part of our school, playing a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience for our students. The PTA organizes events, fundraises for essential resources, and provides a platform for parents/guardians to collaborate with teachers and school staff.
We are excited to announce that the PTA board elections are coming up soon. Serving on the PTA board is a wonderful way to get more involved and make a significant impact on our school community. Additionally, without three filled positions on the Board, our PTA and all it does will cease to exist in 2024-25. We encourage you to consider running for a position! Whether you have prior experience or are new to school committees, your enthusiasm and commitment are what truly matter.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about what it means to be part of the PTA board, please reach out to our current PTA board members at chainlakepta@gmail.com.
I want to express my deepest appreciation for your ongoing support. Your active participation makes our school a vibrant, supportive, and successful community. Together, we can ensure that Chain Lake remains a place where every student can thrive. I look forward to seeing many new faces in our PTA and working closely with our newly elected board members.
