You are invited to our Moon tree Planting!
Greetings Tamarack Families,
Happy Earth Day! Today, our students (K-5) were visited by Will Hornyak, a local storyteller presenting living streams, clean water services. Additionally, continuing our celebration of our first year together as well as Earth Day, we will plant our Moon Tree this Friday at 8:15 am. You are welcome to come join us on the corner of Reed and Kinnaman. We will have news crews visiting us. We will also have about 50 Doug Fir seedlings to give away, consider taking one home! Each class will also be supporting a seedling taking note of its growth until the end of the school year.
This will be after our typical end of the month Celebrations Assembly at 8am in our gym. We will still be awarding this month's trait Integrity as well as golden and principal awards.
After that, students will travel to plant our moon tree (again at about 8:15am). Throughout the day the National Forest Service will be visiting with classes and teaching us about the care of our moon tree and the environment.
