A Message From Your Principal
Dear Eames Way Families,
As we wrap up another successful week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in Trimester II parent-teacher conferences. Your involvement and collaboration play an essential role in supporting our students’ growth and development. We truly appreciate your time and effort in connecting with our teachers to ensure we’re all on the same page as we work together to nurture our students.
This week, we are excited to recognize 14 students who received the March Principal Award for demonstrating the value of Honesty. These students serve as wonderful examples to our entire school community of how integrity, truthfulness, and strong character can make a positive impact on our environment. We are proud of their commitment to these core values and grateful for the example they set for others.
This afternoon we sent home the Eames Way School Family Survey, and we thank all of you in advance for taking your time to share your feedback with us. Your insights are invaluable as we continue to strengthen our partnership with families and grow together as a school community.
As always, we encourage you to keep reading for more exciting updates from this week! Our students had a blast dancing in Music class, learning new moves and enjoying a variety of fun, energetic activities. In Art, our young artists continue to create masterpieces that reflect their creativity and passion. And in Science, our students took part in the exciting process of planting seeds for our expanding hydroponic project. It’s always inspiring to see their curiosity grow!
Thank you again for your ongoing support, and we look forward to another wonderful week ahead as we enter April!
Warm regards,
Ms. Bishop
Principal

"Eames Way Enrichments" By William Rudman, Grade 4
Eames Way After School Enrichment started two weeks ago. The clubs for after school enrichment are: Chess Club, Sports Club, Master Builders Club, Sewing Club and 3D Artwork Club. Each of these clubs focus on one certain thing such as chess. It's a club for beginners in chess. Sewing Club sews blankets Sports Club does activities in the gym 3D art Club does sculpting And Master Builders Club does Legos. After school these clubs go down to the dining room and the club's teachers will pick them up and go to the club's classroom. They go to their club's classroom every Thursday. I am in the chess club and it is very exciting you can learn many things from doing these enrichment programs. You can join whenever you want. Sadly the enrichment programs are almost over. Some clubs have small competitions with prizes such as the chess club and sports club. Nobody knows what the prizes are. Only second grade and up can join in enrichment. Enrichment is a great program and can help kids and their struggles.
Congratulations To Recipients Of This Month's Principal Award!

Nurse Update
March is National Nutrition Month!
A healthy eating pattern includes: A variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fat-free and low-fat dairy products, a variety of protein foods, and oils.
Eating a healthy breakfast is associated with improved cognitive function (especially memory), reduced absenteeism, and improved mood.
Adequate hydration may also improve cognitive function in children and adolescents, which is important for learning.
The benefits of healthy eating reduce the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, iron deficiency, and dental cavities.
