Class of 2025 Senior Yearbook Photo
Andover Class of 2025 Seniors and Parents/Guardians:
You will find all the information for your 2025 Senior Yearbook picture here.
The Andover Yearbook Staff, and David Bank Studios have begun planning for next year’s yearbook. In addition to the yearbook senior portraits, David Bank Studios takes other photos such as sports/groups, special events, and activity/club photos throughout the year. The studio provides the yearbook staff with many of these professional photos, therefore helping with costs and tasks needed for students.
3 OPTIONS FOR YOUR YEARBOOK PHOTO:
David Bank Studios will be coming to the school on Wednesday, July 31st. This is a free session, but you MUST sign-up for an appointment here. You will receive a link to view the yearbook image about 3 weeks after.
David Bank Studios offers paid sessions at their studio for the yearbook photo and additional senior portraits. Have a photo taken by Friday, October 11th, at the studio, and your choice will be submitted to the school by the deadline. Book soon for the best pricing.
The studio will be coming back out to the school for a final make-up date on Thursday, October 10th. This will be the last free option to make it in the yearbook. Photos will be taken during lunch and a sign up link will be sent out closer to the date. If your student is sick, has a field trip, college visit etc., there isn’t a make-up option so we encourage families to take advantage of option 1 or 2.
Appointments at David Bank Studios are limited and prices increase as it gets closer to the deadline. If you choose to have a paid session at the studio, please click here to schedule an appointment.
Thank you,
Andover High School Yearbook Staff and David Banks Studios

Counseling Office Information
Counselors set Tuesday/Wednesday Regular Hours to Continue Expanded Service this Summer
Providing the academic planning students and families need often goes beyond the school year. Andover HS counselors are reaching out with an option to fill that gap with regular office hours two days a week over the summer months.
A counselor will be available for walk-in service or appointments to assist students from 8 AM to 12 Noon on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting June 17th and continuing through August 24th. Service will not be available the weeks of June 24 through July 5 over the holiday. The week of June 17-21, counselors will be available on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18.
The expanded hours aim to provide a consistent time for customer service to students and families. Counselors are also available the full week following the school year and the full week prior to the school year starting. Students are encouraged to contact their counselor for exact availability prior to the end of the school year. https://www.ahschools.us/domain/7105

Summer Volunteer Hours
Does your student plan on volunteering over the summer? If so, please remember to have them document hours spent volunteering on the online form or on the paper form (please submit to my office in the fall). All volunteer hours are logged and kept on record for awards, college/job applications, and scholarships.
A list of summer volunteer opportunities has been generated for all Anoka-Hennepin High Schools. Please access this for ideas on volunteer opportunities throughout the summer.
Need a great reason to volunteer over the summer? Research shows that volunteering boosts your mood and improves physical and mental health! Have a great summer!!
Drop in for Service!
In an effort to bring the spirit of service to Andover High School, Youth Service hosted 15 different fun and meaningful service projects during select late start Mondays. Service projects took place right here at school; participating students received 1 service hour per session. At our final Drop in for Service session, we made fidgets for kids which were donated to Catholic Charities.

Tech Protect: Device Protection Plan
Tech Protect: Device Protection Plan Available for Families with Students Assigned District Chromebooks
Technology plays an important role in preparing students for life, and Chromebooks are utilized as a daily learning tool in Anoka-Hennepin middle and high school classrooms. Anoka-Hennepin students in grades 6-12 are assigned a Chromebook from the school district to ensure access to technology systems that support classroom learning.
Over 28,000 Chromebooks are distributed to students the first week of school. As careful as students and schools are, accidents do happen each year - and thousands of Chromebooks are returned at the end of the school year with damages.
Families have the option to enroll in the Device Protection Plan.
The Technology Protection Plan is optional; it is not required, however, by electing not to participate in the Protection Plan, families may be required to reimburse the school district for the replacement or repair of damaged Chromebooks assigned to their student/s. Damaged or broken screens may cost between $50 to $150 depending on parts needed; or the replacement cost for the entire device could be up to $410.
Families can opt-in to the Device Protection Plan by logging into A-HConnect, and selecting "My Student Information," and "Fees." Parents must select or decline coverage under the Device Protection Plan. Enrollment begins July 1, 2024.
The plan cost is $20 per student or $60 per family per school year.
If the student qualifies for free or reduced-price school meals in the 2024-25 school year, the cost of the Protection Plan will be reduced to $0.
Repairs with the Protection Plan are subject to a $20 deductible.
View the Device Protection Plan flyer to learn more. (PDF)
Enroll in the device protection plan using Synergy.
District to Participate in the Summer Food Service Program
The Anoka-Hennepin School District will participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) once again this summer. Meals will be provided to all children 18 and under at no cost.
Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, at 16 sites across the district. The program will start Thursday, June 13th at most sites. Meal availability and serving times vary from site to site and are subject to change. Review a list of sites and meal times for more information.
Meals will be served inside school buildings. Parents accompanying their children may purchase a meal. Adult breakfast is $3.00 and lunch is $5.00. Exact change is required, and no checks will be taken.
The SFSP was created by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ensure that children could continue to receive nutritious meals during summer break, when they may not have access to school breakfast or lunch.
For more information, please contact Anoka-Hennepin child nutrition at 763-506-1240 or staff.CnpEnrollment@ahschools.us.
