How is it already December?! The days are long but the years are short! Here's what you need to know as we wind the first semester down and looking ahead to 2025!!

Choir Cabaret | Thank You!

Our 4th annual Cabaret was a huge success and it's thanks to the help from countless parents and students. We raised over $14,000 from ticket sales, sponsorships, shout out ads and our silent auction/raffle. These funds will be used to begin to fundraise for our 2025-2026 choir trips that will see all our Choirs travel to a domestic location that is still to be determined and will culminate in our Chamber Choir taking a 9 day trip to Italy in the Summer of 2026. Thank you a thousand times for all you do to make this program a success!

OMEA Solo & Ensemble

OMEA Solo & Ensemble - Saturday January 25th, 2025 @ Barberton HS

The Music Department in the Hudson City Schools has participated in the Ohio Music Educator Association’s Solo and Ensemble adjudicated event for many years. This is not a required commitment, but is an outstanding way for students to improve their musicianship. Students who take private lessons may take a solo to contest and are encouraged to do so.

Holiday Choir Concert

Join us on Wednesday December 11th for our 2024 Holiday Choir Concert. Come hear from Men's, Women's, Bella Voce, Chamber, & Vocal Impact as we get into the Holiday Spirit. The concert begins at 7:00 PM and is FREE & OPEN to the PUBLIC!

Call time for Choir Students is 6:30 PM in the Choir Room

2025 Vocal Impact Invitational | January 17th, 2025

We hope to see everyone come out on Friday, January 17th, 2025 @ 7:00 PM for the 7th Annual HHS Vocal Impact Invitational

This year we will host the HMS Show Choir, Music Unlimited from Whitehall Yearling, and Synergy & Momentum from Nordonia.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door!!

All sales go to benefit the HHS Choral Department to help us with expenses ranging from equipment needs, composer in residence fees, as well as helping us to fundraise for trips to both domestic and foreign destinations.
