📆 Dates to Remember

Applications are open for incoming Kindergarteners! If your student has a younger sibling at home that will start 5K next year, click here to fill out the required application. Applications close January 8th. (Note STEM is not a 4K site-- see the bottom of this newsletter if you are looking for 4K information/options)

🗣 Winter Weather Clothing Reminder!

When we return from break, remember students need winter clothing as we do go outside every day. Students should arrive prepared with winter coats, hats, mittens/gloves, snowpants and boots. We had some difficulty keeping up with deliveries and lending out items today, so your help when we return is much appreciated!

🗣 Art to Remember

Art to Remember orders have been distributed! Your student has been given their order and asked to place it into their backpack. If it for some reason was not found in their backpack, please reach out to Ms. Thompson and she will follow up after Winter Break!

🙌 Cardboard Tubes Needed

Our 3-5th grade MakerSpace is in need of more cardboard tubes. If you would like to collect TP and Paper towel (maybe even wrapping paper?) tubes and drop them off after break, we would appreciate it!

🙌 STEMShare

We are pleased to offer our STEMShare program to families who need it. STEMShare provides healthy, kid-friendly foods to participating students at the end of each school week. Thank you to everyone who donated to the holiday bags we provided today!

🗣 Waukesha Sings Registration Starts January 6!

Save the Date: Waukesha Sings Registration Opens January 6!

We would like to invite any interested 4th, and 5th grade School District of Waukesha students to participate in Waukesha Sings! Beginning at 12:30 on Saturday, March 1st, participants will combine with singers from across the entire school district for a large group choral experience. This action-packed day of rehearsals, singing, and team building will culminate in a concert at 5:30 pm directed by Zachary Moore. Students are required to be at Waukesha Sings from 12:30 through the 5:30 concert. Registration begins on Monday, January 6th at 8:00 am. Please be aware that this is a very popular event and last year’s registration filled up within a few days. If you plan to register your child on January 6th, please ensure that you do not have any conflicts on Saturday, March 1st and that you understand your child will be at South High School from 12:30-6:00 pm on that day. Please consider participating in this fun-filled musical event and reach out to your school's music teacher if you have any other questions.
