Hello Parents!
We're leaning towards our basket themed around Booze and Burgers. We'd love to incorporate a lot of gift cards. What we can't get donated, we'll need to purchase ourselves, along with the basket supplies. So far we had Becky Hensler donate a bottle of Cuervo mix, a couple mini bar bottles, and a mixology book. We're off to a great start and will hopefully lock in some donations from local brewery's and popular burger spots this week.
So, here is where you come in -
We'd like to ask for monetary donations. We are shooting for $5 - $10 per student but please donate what you feel comfortable with! The sooner you can send this in the better so we can start purchasing items as this is due right after Spring Break.

* Send in a check (made out to Christa Siladie), or cash in a sealed envelope
* Write on it your students, your email address and "2017 Silent Auction"
* Have your student give this to Mrs. Holtz at school
* I will email you a confirmation of receipt of your donation
If you have never attended the school auction, it is a fun night full of laughs, good food, drinks, and fun at the live auction event. Bidding on the baskets and other goodies up for grabs is very exciting and entertaining. Just watching it all go down is equally fun!
Just a quick note on what the money raised at the auction is used for. Donations raised from this year’s auction will be voted on by the PTO and will help support next year’s operational budget for Heritage. Money raised for the PTO can support non-personnel areas of the school budget. These funds will fund all the paper products, soap for the bathrooms, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, copies, paper, pens, tape, etc. for the entire 2017-2018 school year. This budget is approx. $40,000 annually.
Any additional money raised goes towards upkeep, maintenance, and purchasing of the one-to-one devices (i.e. IPads and Chromebooks) that our kids have the luxury of having here at Heritage. Monies beyond those needs are voted on and support other needs in the classrooms from teacher grant requests, upgrades to furnishings, and our ongoing shade structure project for the outdoor area by the cafeteria. This PTO funding allows for 100% of the monies from the state to be appropriated for personnel and keeps our classroom sizes as small as possible.
