I hope that all of you are enjoying a great start to summer break! This is the last edition of the Kennedy News for the 2023-2024 school year. Cub families, thank you again for your wonderful support for our school. Your partnership is a big reason why Kennedy is such a great school.

You will occasionally get updates from the school over the summer but if you need anything from me, I encourage you to email. I will be in and out through June and July but I will be checking my email.

The Kennedy Cub 5th graders began a new tradition this year with a whole school graduation ceremony at East High School!

The tradition started with the entire school having a walking parade to the East auditorium. The 5th graders were escorted by their parents for the ceremony. The event was the culmination of all the hard work that our Cubs have done during their time at Kennedy and it was a chance for them to shine in front of their families, teachers, and fellow Cubs. It was a great celebration for the entire school!

We will miss our 5th graders but we know they are destined for greatness at Prairie Winds Middle School, East High School, and beyond! Once a Cub, Always a Cub!

We are looking for a few more parents who are interested in being part of the Kennedy PTO! The Kennedy PTO hosts monthly family engagement events, supports the annual fundraiser, and helps bridge the connection from home to school.
