Ms. M., a JHHS school student who worked at GQES from 2:00-4:00 daily, getting the experiences of supervising children is an amazing person!!!

Our Chameleon students, now graduating JHHS Class of 2024 returned to us, walked the halls, saw their well crafted tiles, and enjoyed rekindling with us after a decade! Best wishes to the Class of 2024!!!

Here we go! We are almost complete with the 2023-2024 school year!!!

We have had a wonderful year! Our students learned from their teachers' hard work instructing and leading our Chameleons to grow and thrive in all areas: socially, emotionally, cognitively, and behaviorally! You can help us by enforcing and supporting ways for your child to grow, thrive, listen, gain talents, and be ready to come back to school in August 2024!!!

• 5/30/24: Last Day of School: early dismissal at 11:15am; report cards will go home the last day of school.

• 6/10/24-6/27/24: WPS District-wide Elementary Summer School 8:00-1:00.

How important is recess? Why Recess Makes Sense

We love having our students perform on stage, especially on the Patsy Cline Stage at John Handley High School! Mrs. Edwards, our music teacher did a masterful job of helping students share their talents!!!

Our grade 4 students were able to visit the Douglas School in Winchester and learn about our community in the late 1950's-1960's with special guest speakers. Each child had a booklet to complete as part of the tour.

-Registration and eligibility events start soon! Physicals and vaccinations will be offered as listed on the registration website.

-You must bring your required documents, including birth certificate, TWO proofs of residency, physical exam, immunization record, and income verification for PreK only

-We will be using a new system for online registration and an email address is required to register

We can't wait to welcome your student and family to Winchester Public Schools!

Please be aware that RAS will be offering extended Aftercare on Thursday, May 30th beginning at the 11:15am early dismissal until our regular out time of 6pm.

We will be sending out an announcement to all RAS families and we will post a flyer on our checkout table.
