Principal Newsletter Notes

Winter break is fast approaching! Now is a great time for parents to double check their access to Genesis and Parent Square. Please ensure your contact information is up to date in Genesis. Some parent information did not transfer from Powerschool. This means you should double check that spouses or any other guardians are correctly displayed. Additionally, if you'd like to receive a one time message from Parent Square instead of individual notification, you can turn your settings to "digest" which will give you one daily update.

This week is our winter concert for Bunker Hill. Our students have been practicing hard to put on a wonderful winter show. The concert starts promptly at 7pm. The Marching Band Booster will also be selling 50/50 tickets to help raise money for the High Notes trips in the Spring. We appreciate your support.

This Friday is also our Winter Wonderland. Students can buy tickets in school this week. Activities will include roasting marshmallows, karaoke, and hot chocolate. This event is from 6-7:30pm. Students will be dropped off in the back by the cafeteria and picked up in the front.

Tickets will also be sold for Holiday at the Hill, an after school winter activity day hosted by our PTO. Students can take the late bus or be picked up at 4:30pm.

We love seeing bulldogs in action! Check out a student and her family on Fox29 promoting their restaurant.

Parent Directory

Students who walk or are driven to school are permitted entry into the building at 7:55. This is 20 minutes prior to the start of the school day. We cannot have students enter the building until staff are able to receive them. If a student is dropped off between 7:55 and 8:10, they are to report to the cafeteria.

Cellphones are to be kept in lockers and out of sight during the school day. Students who are not feeling well or are having difficulties are able to go to the nurse or guidance office. There, we can contact home together. We do not allow students to text home throughout the day. We appreciate your cooperation.
