Tiger News
Hello parents and guardians,
Can you believe the end of the semester is right around the corner?!? It feels like just last week was August. Next week is a short week with an early release (11:00 am) on Thursday. Please check Skyward to make sure your student does not have any missing work or U's. Thank you for your continued support!
6th grade band did a phenomenal job on Thursday! It was awesome seeing all their hard work pay off!
We are seeing an increase of Chromebooks not being charged at night. Please, please, please remind your student to charge their Chromebook at home! Students also have the option to leave their Chromebook at school inside the charging station.

What's Going On In Model & Design?
Families,
6th graders have pulled out all the stops in developing skimmers with all kinds of features. Some have 4, 5, and even 6 “wings”. Some even have bunny faces and fiery paint jobs.
We discussed dependent and independent variables and the kids are looking forward to race day 2.0.

We are finishing our study of Christmas in other countries. We will read two books this week about holidays celebrated around the world, and the history and origin of the Christmas tree. Students will demonstrate their knowledge of these two books by playing Gimkit and writing a response in google forms.
