Message from Mr. Borak, Dean of Students
Dear OEMS Students and Families,
It's with a mix of gratitude and excitement that I'm writing to you today. I want to express my deepest appreciation for the wonderful year I've had as your Dean of Students. Joining the OEMS family after my time at Moose Lake Elementary has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I feel truly fortunate to have been a part of this amazing community.
I've been so inspired by the incredible students, supportive families, and dedicated staff here. I've learned and grown so much as an educator, and I will always cherish the memories we've made together.
I've accepted the position of Elementary Principal at Moose Lake Elementary. As a proud resident of Moose Lake, with my own children attending the schools, this opportunity felt like a perfect fit for my family and my career.
My last day at OEMS will be Friday, March 28th. Until then, I'm committed to continuing my work as your Dean of Students with the same dedication and enthusiasm I've shown throughout the year. I'm excited to finish this chapter strong and support our students and families in every way possible during my remaining time here.
I will forever treasure the time I've spent at OEMS. Thank you for making this year so special.
Warmly,
Charlie Borak
Dean of Students, OEMS

Community Education Music Class
OEMS Huskies Fiddle Band Club
Instructor: Tami Nelson - OEMS Orchestra Director
โHuskies Fiddle Band is a club that invites anyone to come and learn some folk music, how to jam, and to prepare for performances in school and in the community! What instrument can join? If it has strings it will work! Banjo, mandolin, ukulele, banjolin, manobass or any other stringed/fretted instrument. Irish drum, too.
This is not a beginning instrument class. You must know how to play your instrument a bit. We will learn to play melody and harmony and how to chop and play chords for back-up. You donโt need to be amazing. You just need to LOVE playing and want to learn a new tune by ear or with music.
Requirement: Have your own instrument, practice at home and have fun learning new music with new and old friends.

When: Thursdays, March 6 - May 15, 3:30-4:30 PM (no class: 3/13, 4/3)
