Message from Principal Bivens
We are off to a great start! Teachers and students are getting settled into their routines and procedures, which ensures that great learning is happening!
September is going to be a busy month! Please read the information below regarding Grandparents Day. We will celebrate our amazing grandparents on Tuesday, September 10th.
Also, please note our new start and end times for the school day, which are listed below as well. This information has been communicated several times, yet there are students arriving after 8:30am. If students arrive after 8:30am, they will be marked as tardy.
If your student is a car rider and they eat breakfast at school, please ensure they arrive to school before 8:20am to eat breakfast. This will ensure that our bus riders have time to eat breakfast as well since several buses arrive after 8:20am.
Lastly, if your student is a car rider, please do not drop them off until 8:10am. We have several students arriving prior to 8am. We do not have staff available to monitor students until 8:10am. Students are being dropped off and they are waiting in the foyer unsupervised. This is a safety concern since there is no one available to supervise. Please call the office at 785-379-5910 to get contact information for Boys & Girls Club to set-up before school care.
Let's keep rockin' the 24/25 school year!
Proudly Serving as YOUR Principal!

WOOT WOOT Wagon Donations Needed!
Ms. Bivens and Mrs. Cress LOVE to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff members with the WOOT WOOT Wagon. The first WOOT WOOT Wagon will be Friday, August 30th. Normally, Ms. Bivens, Mrs. Cress, &/or PTO stock the WOOT WOOT Wagon, but they would love help! Donations in any amount of canned soda, individual bagged chips, bottled water, &/or various types of candy (or anything you think our teachers/staff would like) would be so very appreciated. Please drop-off your donations in the office to Ms. Jordan, Ms. Courtney, or Ms. Skye Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Call the office at 785-379-5910 with questions. THANK YOU!!!
