Dear Central Road Families:

This past week, our students in grades 3-6 focused on putting forth their best effort during IAR testing with the support of their wonderful teaching staff. We are proud of their hard work! We too enjoyed a week filled with spirit while being able to dress up/down each day!

Thank you for taking time to read our weekly communication. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out for support and/or clarification. Please enjoy your weekend with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming back students & staff on Monday, March 13th.

Grade 1 & Grade 3 School Performance(s)

Our 1st and 3rd graders have been working hard on preparing for their upcoming performance. Please join us on Thursday, March 23rd at Central Road School. Our grade 1 performance will take place at 6:00 pm. Our grade 3 performance will take place at 7:00 pm.

Message from Mrs. Kathy

We’re almost there, almost done with winter. Hopefully soon, we will feel the warmth and fun of spring. Please do not block Brookmeade Drive when waiting to enter the parking lot from the west at dismissal. The traffic must be allowed to flow freely. There are two private driveways right across from school, on the southwest and southeast corners of Brookmeade Drive. It is imperative these driveways not be blocked. Something that I know has been mentioned recently is the fact that coming to a full STOP when exiting the school driveway is not a choice, it is

a requirement. It’s also a good idea to look to see if traffic is approaching from the east. Thank you all for your time and attention. I appreciate those of you who pay attention to the suggestions made here. I do see improvement and thank you all for that. Thank You

A Note from our Health Office

Please kindly report any illnesses like strep, flu, pink eye, rsv, and/or covid to the Nurse's Office when confirmed by a doctor. Thank you for keeping your child(ren) at home when not feeling well. We continue to encourage consistent hand washing at school. Please email me with any questions related to your child's health needs at school. Thank you so much!
