BRAVE Connections
"We are Warriors. We are Sanford."
From the Principal's Desk
August 26, 2024
Dear Warrior Families,
We are excited to share that our ELA and Math teachers have recently held data chats with students to set personalized goals based on their performance on last year's FAST assessments. These one-on-one conversations are crucial in helping our students take ownership of their learning and set clear targets for their academic growth.
These goals are designed to guide their efforts and focus on continued improvement. To ensure that students stay on track, we will be using Progress Monitoring 1 (PM 1), Progress Monitoring 2 (PM 2), and benchmark assessments throughout the year. These tools will help students and teachers track progress toward the goals, adjusting as needed to ensure success.
We encourage you to discuss these goals with your child and support them as they work towards achieving them. Regularly reviewing progress together can make a big difference in keeping your child motivated and focused.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can help our Warriors reach their full potential!
We are proud of our Warriors for being leaders of their learning and planning for success!
Make it a great week,
Dr. Coleman

WARRIORS...RISE UP!
Students attended grade-level assemblies to grasp the importance of setting high standards and living by the BRAVE principles. They were reminded that high expectations are being set for them this year because:
