Attendance and Support Reminders
To ensure your child stays on track and doesn't fall behind in their courses, it’s essential that students attend school every day. School starts promptly at 8:00 AM. For students who need extra academic support, homework help is available starting at 7:30 AM.
In addition, students are encouraged to get involved in clubs and activities, which take place Tuesday through Thursday from 2:20 PM to 3:20 PM. These opportunities offer a great way to engage with peers and explore interests outside of the classroom.
Consistency in attendance helps students succeed—thank you for supporting your child's education!

New York State License
If your New York State license or ID does not have a star or a flag on it, then you do not have a REAL ID-compliant document.
A REAL ID is a federally compliant DMV-issued driver license, learner permit, or non-driver ID that will be required to board a domestic flight (within the U.S.) or enter certain federal buildings starting in May 2025, unless you have a valid passport.
If you need any assistance with this process please reach out to Ms. Reyes

Legal Outreach Program
The Summer Law Institute (SLI) is a five week, summer law program for students who have just completed their eighth grade school year. The Summer Law Institute pushes rising ninth graders to see themselves as young professionals-in-training. The program exposes them to positive and successful role-models, involves them in professional activities, and places them on a path that can lead to the fulfillment of their dreams. Students who complete the SLI are eligible to apply to our 4-year College Bound program. If you have any questions please reach out at: sli@legaloutreach.org
