GHS Weekly Newsletter:

Week of April 15, 2024:
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODE) has awarded Goshen High School the prestigious Momentum Award in recognition of significant improvement in growth and achievement on the 22-23 report card. Congratulations Goshen High School!
Goshen High School takes immense pride in providing students with opportunities for growth and success beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Recently, two outstanding students, Corbin Hinkle and Max Lowry, exemplified this commitment by participating in the FlexFactor program, in partnership with Sinclair College. FlexFactor, designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among high school students, provided Corbin and Max with a platform to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills. Little did they anticipate that their involvement would lead them to an unexpected opportunity – the SCORE Dayton high school pitch competition. Their efforts culminated in a remarkable achievement. Corbin and Max emerged victorious, winning the Project Pitch Competition and securing a $2000 cash prize for Lift Rite, an easy solution to help avoid tweaks, sprains, pulls, tears, and breaks while working out. Congratulations to Corbin Hinkle and Max Lowry for their outstanding accomplishment, and to Goshen High School for fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Michael Warren and Carson Sizemore (Goshen students attending the OAKS) took 1st place (as part of a 3-person team) in the Automated Manufacturing Technology Competition. They will be moving on to the National SkillsUSA competition in Atlanta, June 24-28. Congratulations Michael and Carson!
