Exploring Hispanic/Latin Culture: Sept - Oct 2023
The new school year is HERE!! And, with it, we'll dive deep into different cultures through different formats to increase your chance to READ AS MUCH AS YOU WANT! Our newsletter will feature current and upcoming library, school, and community events that teaches, entertains, and explores literary and cultural ideas.
As you walk the halls of Connecticut Farms, read all about some famous Hispanic/LatinX people. Some of them you'll know, some you won't. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) look at THREE (or more, if you want to) sections of this newsletter to engage in different aspects of Hispanic/Latinx culture.
Remember to check out our Patriot Library Media Center, the PLMC, for short, Hispanic Heritage displays in the hallways and in the library! 📚
But first, let's review some highlights from last school year in our 🎥BLAST FROM THE PAST - STUDENT SPOTLIGHT 🔦 section. Remember, you or your library work may be featured in upcoming Library Chat newsletters. So, work hard this year, Patriots!
I'll see you in the stacks!
