As a school learning community, we are recognizing TJS jaguars who consistently demonstrate exemplary character traits, behavior, kindness, and compassion for others. Nominations are submitted throughout the entire month and at the end of the month, one jaguar from each grade level is selected and recognized. This week, Ms. Garcia announced the May Jaguars of the Month!

Parents are encouraged to check the school website often for the most up-to-date information regarding the new school year. In late August, parents will be notified of when they will be able to log in to the Genesis Parent Portal to complete the required back-to-school forms. Completion of the forms in the portal is required in order to obtain your child's teacher placement and class for the 2024-2025 school year.

Please note that all 2024-2025 Student Supply Lists are posted HERE on our school website. The supply lists are specific to each grade level that your child is entering into. If you are aware of any family that may be in need of financial assistance to purchase school supplies, please don’t hesitate to contact the main office.

Please have your child check the Lost & Found rack prior to the last day of school! We still have plenty of clothes, lunchboxes, and water bottles! All unclaimed items will be donated by the last day of school. During the week of June 17th, there will be tables outside the main office for you to browse Lost and Found items.

We are so excited for the many end of year fifth grade events to celebrate the hard work of our fifth grade students. It's hard to believe that the class of 2024 will be leaving us at Torey J. soon.

This week students in grades 4 and 5 attended a "Keeping Stories Alive" Holocaust Program with speaker Robert Sochor. The program was informative and educational for our students who asked thoughtful questions to our guest. Thank you to School Counselor, Mrs. Bletcher, for organizing the event and the PTO for funding the program experience for our students.

What a week at TJS! So many thank yous to spread around! Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who came out to support Field Day! Mr. G did an awesome job planning a special day for our kids and your support helped to make it run smoothly!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the fabulous committee who organized this best day of the year - Kristan Sands, Vanessa Avci, Julie Snyder, Amy Sharon, Katie Korycinski, Ashley Rader, Dina Millet, Kylie Haoues, and to our marketing committee (Corinne Murphy & Christina McAuliffe), communications committee (Carmelina Giordano and Katie Heinkel) and treasurers (Katie Kyle, Wendy Gonzalez, Anna Fields) for all of their behind the scenes help! It takes a village and TJS has the very best!
